The TGA stop codon of the mouse Dpp9 gene is replaced by P2A-EGFP-T2A-CreERT2. When this strain is crossed with mice containing loxP sites, after tamoxifen induction in the offspring mice, sequence recombination between loxP sites mediated by Cre recombinase will be triggered. In addition, an enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) expression element is inserted before the CreERT2 recombinase element in this model, which can also be used for the tracking of Dpp9-positive cells.
